Ex-RSA chief Haste named as frontrunner for TSB lead role

Former insurer boss subject to appointment rumours.

Andy Haste, the former boss of RSA Insurance, is reportedly preparing to take the lead at TSB ahead of its planned flotation on the London Stock Exchange next year.

According to Sky News, Haste is the preferred candidate for the role of TSB chairman, although he has not yet formally agreed to take the role.

Haste stood down as RSA CEO in 2011, and since has taken on a number roles including deputy chairman of the Lloyd’s council.

He has previously been linked with a private equity consortium
