Biba unveils a Lord on its board for the first time

Trade body states that the appointment follows the recommendations made during its strategic review.

The British Insurance Brokers' Association (Biba) has confirmed that Lord Hunt of Wirral will become independent non-executive director (INED) on its board.

The trade body said it was the first time in its history that an INED had been appointed to its board.

Biba explained that the appointment - which begins with immediate effect - was one of the outcomes of its strategic review.
