Axa introduces real-time pricing for brokers

Axa commercial lines and personal intermediary has started the roll-out of insurer hosted pricing for brokers in its motor personal lines portfolio.

The provider claimed that the capability to change rates in-house would help give brokers the ability to compete with direct writers and reduce the time it takes to deliver quotes.

The initiative went live with SSP brokers in August and Axa stated that the technology will now be rolled out to all brokers for motor personal lines products by the end of the year, and for all household products by the end of the second quarter of 2014.

Karen Hogg, managing director of personal intermediary, said:

Only users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
