HSB Engineering takes construction leader from Aviva

HSB Engineering Insurance (HSB), part of Munich Re, has appointed Sam Alcock as construction product leader.

He joins from Aviva where he was trading underwriting manager for construction power and engineering. Prior to this he spent over 30 years at RSA.

The specialist engineering and construction insurer confirmed that Alcock will be based in Manchester and will report to Ian Brown, portfolio manager.

The provider detailed that he will be responsible for construction products including development of construction wordings, product guides and training modules.
