Rural hires underwriter from NIG
Rural Insurance has hired Kate Young as its South West and South Wales regional development underwriter.
Young joins the specialist agricultural insurer from NIG FarmWeb where she spent three years as an underwriter. She has almost 20 years' experience in underwriting with firms including Ageas and Zurich and will be based in Cheltenham.
She commented: "There is a great opportunity to expand Rural Insurance's broker relationships in the region and offer a new level of back-to-basics, face-to-face contact with brokers."
