RSA names Smith as broker chief to replace Donaldson

RSA has unveiled Philip Smith as group director, global brokers, to replace Paul Donaldson.

Earlier this year, the insurer confirmed that Donaldson would retire in early 2014 after some 37 years. 

In the meantime, Smith, who will balance the position alongside his responsibilities of being CEO, RSA Ireland, will work with Donaldson in a bid to ensure a smooth transition.
