Axa promotes King to head of strategic partnerships

Axa Commercial Lines and Personal Intermediary has named Barrie King as head of strategic partnerships.

Mr King - who was previously Birmingham branch manager - has been tasked with the strategic direction and management of Axa's relationships with commercial lines broker partners, as well as the development of new opportunities. 

He will replace Anne Harrison who was unveiled as Manchester branch manager in June.

And King's position heading up the Birmingham office will now be assumed by Axa's head of new deals and former Reading branch manager Ed Pugh.
