Aon reportedly on rogue investigator SOCA list

Aon has been named among the firms that appear on the Serious Organised Crime Agency's (SOCA) list of organisations that used rogue private investigators, it has been reported.

The Mail on Sunday claimed that a Westminster source had indicated that the broking giant featured on the 102-company strong SOCA list.

According to the article, SOCA handed over the list to the Home Affairs Select Committee after agreeing to keep the names of the firms private.

It added that links between Aon and the SOCA list were made after the broker was found on the client list of two private investigators who were convicted of obtaining information illegally.
