Ecclesiastical CEO reveals UK GI autumn restructure

Ecclesiastical group chief executive Mark Hews has revealed that the insurer will unveil a restructuring of its UK GI business this autumn.

Hews - who replaced the retiring Michael Tripp earlier this year - confirmed that the changes would be announced in October as a result of broker and customer feedback. 

He told Insurance Age that changes would not consist of any "major job losses".

"There will be some change, I don't think its material for you to report on [any redundancies]. You will have to wait and see, no decisions have been made as of yet," he explained.
