Former Axa man Hector completes Cooter's Covea overhaul

Former Axa commercial lines distribution director Keith Hector has joined Covea Insurance, Insurance Age can reveal.

It is understood that Hector, whose departure from Axa in April 2011 was widely lamented by brokers, will assume the role of southern regional head at the provider next month. 

Hector's appoint completes the trio of senior-team appointments Covea's commercial lines director Simon Cooter had targeted on unveiling the insurer's regional strategy earlier this year.

This summer Covea has unveiled former Aviva manager Maureen Owen as northern regional head and former Brit man Tim Grant as micro SME
