Skuld names new vice president in claims service push
Skuld has moved to appoint Anders Hovelsrud as vice president specialising in hull, machinery and other claims for the marine insurance provider's syndicate 1897 at Lloyd's.
The provider confirmed that Hovelsrud and his team, which consists of two claims executives anda senior risk management executive, will report to Skuld's head of P&I operations Lars Dueled.
Bernt Hellman, active underwriter at Skuld 1897, said: "Anders is integral to our efforts to build a marine hull claims-lead service that is second to none and he brings a Scandinavian ‘hands-on full-service' ethos which ties in very closely with Skuld's approach to business."
