Zurich crowned insurer of the year at the BIA
Zurich Insurance won the insurer of the year award at the British Insurance Awards (BIA) in London last night.
The provider fought off stiff competition from a shortlist that included Ageas UK, AIG, Allianz Insurance, Hiscox and Sterling Insurance Group to scoop the award at the prestigious ceremony hosted by sister title Post at the Royal Albert Hall.
Reg Brown, chairman of the Managing General Agents Association, was also honoured at the BIA with the achievement award.
