Towergate poised to buy Grant Ellis-owned broker
Towergate is poised to buy Harrogate-based Ellis Bates Insurance Brokers, Insurance Age can reveal.
The consolidator is set to complete its 11th acquisition so far this year and its 32nd since 2012 with the capture of the commercial insurance broker.
Insurance Age understands that all the terms and documentation regarding the sale have been agreed with the deal now resting on final approval from the Financial Conduct Authority. It is expected to receive regulatory sign-off within days.
The broker - which is part of the Ellis Bates Group and is also a member of Towergate-owned Broker Network -
