Willis in talks to sell SME business to network member

Willis is in talks to sell part of its direct commercial business portfolio in England to a member of its commercial network.

A spokesperson for Willis confirmed that discussions were afoot with a broker within Willis Commercial Network.

Willis stated: "As part of an on-going strategic review of our UK operations, we have examined how best to develop our business with small-to-medium commercial customers.

"We have concluded that the right strategy in England is to focus our efforts in a strengthened partnership with the brokers in Willis Networks."
