Towergate appoints Ryan Brown as group M&A director
Towergate has appointed Ryan Brown from investment bank Keefe Bruyette & Woods as group mergers and acquisitions (M&A) director with an expected start date of early August.
At his previous employer Mr Brown was executive vice president for European investment banking.
At Towergate Mr Brown will head up the 11-strong M&A department, reporting into group CFO Scott Egan.
He replaces Dan Saulter whose departure from the role for Davies Group was confirmed in April this year.
According to Towergate its M&A team is "widely acknowledged as the most active team in the general insurance market, having completed 37 acquisitions in 18 months".
