Brunel grows broker PI division

Brunel Professional Risks has expanded its wholesale professional indemnity insurance (PI) broking arm with an internal promotion and a new recruit.

Tim Grant has joined the wholesale team as an account broker having come on board at Brunel in 2009. He has been promoted from a key service-driven account broker role within Brunel's new business team.

Jody Rimmington has also taken on an account broker position having been recruited from specialist will writing and estate planning business ELM Legal Services.

The company claimed that the move was in response to rapidly growing demand from brokers across the UK. The service was launched in
