Biba swaps Lorega for Das in loss recovery scheme
The British Insurance Brokers’ Association (Biba) has replaced Lorega with Das UK as the provider for its loss recovery scheme.
The new arrangement offers Biba members access to Das Loss Assist. The product covers the immediate appointment of a loss adjuster and other professionals - including access to chartered accountants, surveyors or other claims professionals where required - in the event of a large commercial loss.
The broker trade body did not provide details of the reasons behind the decision to end its relationship with Lorega but did wish the company well and thanked it for "on-going and long-term future
