Former IFB and Groupama director joins Coversure

Former Insurance Fraud Bureau (IFB) and Groupama director Phil Bird has returned as a broker with Coversure.

Sister title Post has revealed that Mr Bird - who was previously IFB director before stepping down in January 2013 - has agreed to become a Coversure franchisee in Clacton-on-Sea. 

He admitted he had been "reinvigorated" by his time away from the corporate market place.

Mr Bird said: "I knew the IFB position was in effect a 12-month secondment so I always had an eye on what my next move would be, and I had decided that I wanted a lifestyle change that did not involve getting up at 5:30am and
