McCann to replace Plumeri at Willis

Willis has confirmed that Jim McCann will succeed Joe Plumeri as non-executive chairman when he retires in July.

Mr McCann, who will take up the role on 8 July, has been on the Willis board since 2004 and been presiding independent director since October 2012.

Mr Plumeri will have been in the chairman's role for six months having already been replaced as group CEO by Dominic Casserley in January of this year.
