Barnett & Barnett in name change following MBO
Barnett & Barnett has changed name following its management buyout (MBO) from IAG.
The broker, along with NBJ, will operate under the name of ICB Group from 1 May 2013, led by Neil Campling, previously CEO of Barnett & Barnett.
Mr Campling told Insurance Age that the broker had not been considering an MBO before IAG announced it was to withdraw from the UK commercial insurance market.
However, he added: “Once they made that decision then we were quite keen to ensure the MBO was the method of exit in as much that we felt that we had a very good business with some very good
