Clear Insurance buys Steveni Kessler book

Clear Insurance has bought the general insurance business of Edmonton-based Steveni Kessler for an undisclosed sum.

The deal for the London broker's GI book sees sole owner Peter Kessler and five staff join Clear's City office.

According to Clear, the £2.5m gross written premium acquisition is a mix of personal lines and commercial lines business.

The broker highlighted that the purchase provided niche opportunities through the likes of scout groups and garden squares schemes.
