Charterhouse looking to sell Giles majority stake
Private equity group Charterhouse has reportedly begun looking for buyers for its majority stake in Giles.
City A.M. has today reported that Charterhouse has made informal approaches to sector specialists in a bid to sound out potential interest.
However, the business title stated that candidates spoken to so far have warned that the sale price currently looks too full.
Glasgow-based Giles was bought by Charterhouse in 2008. The London and Paris-based private equity firm is headed by executive chairman Gordon Bonnyman.
