Law firm urges brokers to react to Laspo reforms

Insurers and brokers must make a “positive decision” to respond to the Legal Aid, Sentencing and Punishment of Offenders Act (Laspo) immediately or risk losing ground to competitors, law firm Antony Hodari has warned.

The firm cautioned that rival businesses may set up operations ahead of the curve, and asserted that any delay would make it difficult for those left behind to catch up.

Mark Grover, CEO of Antony Hodari, commented: "The Laspo reforms are now with us and insurance professionals will have started to feel the effects."

It comes as the company issued a report, called All Change: The new world of PI, which revealed that insurance businesses look for certain fundamentals when partnering with a law
