Broker optimism on the up
Optimism among insurance brokers rose marginally in the first three months of 2013, according to the latest CBI/PwC financial services survey.
The survey measured the percentage balance of negative and positive responses to questions, and found that brokers were 5% more positive than negative about the overall business situation in their sector.
This follows two successive quarters in which brokers experienced a decline in optimism.
Brokers also felt that their present level of business was on average 7% above normal.
