Ex-Towergate regional MD joins Glendinning
Neil Forrest, formerly regional managing director for the North at Towergate, is to join JM Glendinning on 23 April.
Insurance Age exclusively revealed Mr Forrest's departure from the broking giant earlier this week along with a wider structural change for the company.
Nick Houghton, managing director for Leeds-based Glendinning, confirmed that Mr Forrest would lead his new firm's start-up office in Newcastle.
The office, which opened on 1 March with one member of staff, has been tasked with reaching £1m of premium income as part of a plan to double the size of JM Glendinning.
