Axa regaining brokers trust at Bolton NTC
Axa was losing business to other insurers before it restructured its Bolton branch as a national trading centre (NTC), according to Chris Maguire, manager of the NTC.
The number of brokers Axa was speaking to regularly from its Bolton branch had dwindled to “around 100”, he explained.
At the time of the revamp, the provider said the Bolton NTC would be a port of call for brokers with multiple sites, and those without access to a local Axa branch.
It now serves 2,500 brokers, mainly those dealing with less than £5m worth of commercial lines business.
“The underwriting hasn’t changed at all,” said Mr Maguire.
