Willis COO Ghezzi to leave

exit open door

Willis is to part company with chief operating officer Gioia Ghezzi as part of the broker’s programme of 200 job cuts, sister-title Post has reported.

Ms Ghezzi joined Willis in April last year but according to the article her role will be split across two existing positions at the firm.

The broking giant last week announced a loss of $805m [£520m] for the final quarter of 2012 and that deputy group chairman Martin Sullivan will leave in May 2013 "to pursue other interests".

A Willis spokesperson told Post: "I am not aware of any further high profile departures as part of the cuts programme at this point."
