Bluefin strikes software deal with CDL for Leeds office

Bluefin has appointed CDL to provide a new personal lines platform for its Leeds office.

The 60-seat hub will receive full web integration. Bluefin's personal lines centre in the south is already serviced by the software provider. 

Private client division head Tim Mortimer said: "CDL is a recognised leader in the high volume retail insurance market and its broking system has supported an efficient operation in the south, making it the natural choice when choosing a new system for this operation."

Broking profits fall at Saga

Underlying profit before tax in Saga’s insurance broking arm fell to £39.8m for the year ended 31 January 2024, compared with £71.5m in the previous period.
