Biba extends NMU cargo scheme

The British Insurance Brokers' Association (Biba) has put pen to paper and extended its members' cargo scheme for another three years with Northern Marine Underwriters (NMU).

The scheme - which has been in place since 2009 - offers members enhanced commission, a simplified policy wording and online quotations. 

Speaking about the decision, Biba's head of technical services, Steve Foulsham said: "Having underwritten this business for the last three years, NMU was keen to offer even more choice to our members.

"NMU's distribution network sets them apart from the competition - having eight branches, covering the whole of the UK fits perfectly with BIBA's own regional
