Stackhouse Poland completes £27m GWP LFC deal

Stackhouse Poland has completed the deal to buy LFC Insurance Brokers and its business Shield Underwriting.

Last September, Insurance Age reported that an agreement had between struck between Stackhouse Poland and LFC, yet it was still subject to regulatory approval. 

The broker described the move as a "major acquisition", worth £27m GWP. The group's GWP has now reached the £85m mark.

LFC - which boasts offices in Chelmsford and Eastbourne - specialises in the commercial, property and professional insurance sectors, as well as high net worth.
