April targets broker driven growth
April UK has targeted £4m of new private medical insurance (PMI) sales through brokers in 2013 after expanding its broker offering.
The health insurance specialist claimed that it saw a marked increase in PMI sales through brokers in 2012, after forging key new partnerships with Chase Templeton, PMI Partners and ActiveQuote. The firm has now taken on an additional broker development manager to meet the increasing demand.
