Optimism sinks lower among brokers
Optimism among insurance brokers fell in the three months to December – the second quarter of falls, the latest survey from PWC and the CBI has found.
The Financial Services quarterly research measured the gap between those who were less optimistic (defined as negative) or more optimistic (ranked as positive) about the overall business situation in the sector.
Overall, the difference stood at 20% of brokers who harboured a negative outlook for the current climate. This was the second quarter in a row where the overall sentiment has been negative, in September the gap stood at 15%.
However it is a considerable improvement on December 2011 when
