NMJ Insurance buys in Derbyshire
NMJ Insurance Brokers (NMJ) has bought the general insurance business of M J Stansfield, taking its acquisition count to four since 2010.
The deal saw NMJ buy the general insurance business from current owner, Mike Stansfield, who has decided to focus on mortgage, life, pension and investment activities.
M J Stansfield (and its predecessor, C T O'Brien), has been trading in Glossop since 1986.
The move follows the previously announced purchase of Glossop-based Ridge Insurance along with those of Protheroe Insurance in Belper and Barry Fenton Insurance, based in Scunthorpe.
