Outgoing Willis chief will still "suit up" after departure

Outgoing Willis chief Joe Plumeri insists he will still "suit up" after he departs the global broker next year.

The East Anglian Daily Times reported that Mr Plumeri - who will be replaced by Dominic Casserley in the New Year - has no intention of retiring.

The group CEO's remarks came as he paid a final visit to the company's Ipswich office.

He is reported as saying: "I will get up in the morning and I will ‘suit up', because that is what I do. Where I will go in that suit I have no idea but, to me, suiting up in the morning means you have a purpose.

"Willis will always have a special place in my heart

ALA expands range with pothole insurance

Yorkshire-based GAP insurance provider ALA Insurance has expanded its product offering with the launch of a specialist pothole insurance policy, in a move it claimed targets one of the “more persistent and costly problems facing UK motorists”.
