Mitsui unveils former Travelers boss as claims head

Mitsui Sumitomo at Lloyd's has appointed former Travelers boss Simon Catt as head of claims.

Mr Catt - who was head of claims for Travelers Syndicate Management at Lloyd's for some 11 years - succeeds Jonathan Poole in the role. 

Mr Poole was promoted to the position of chief executive officer of Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Company in June.

And speaking about Mr Catt's arrival, Andrew McKee, Mitsui chief executive officer, said: "The role of leading our claims team is of considerable importance to Mitsui.

Aviva doubling down for customers, says Martin
