Digital: Bridging the social media generational gap

The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) could provide better training on digital technology, but is setting an excellent example for insurance companies around social media, according to insurance broker Paul Hine.

Mr Hine, who is managing director at Hine Insurance Brokers, told Insurance Age: “I think the CII has embraced [social media] very well. Their content is relevant.”

He offered the Institute’s director of faculties Ant Gould as a good example of a twitter user, and said that the CII had, in general, been keeping up well with advances in digital technology.
