Lorica opens new Reading branch

Lorica Insurance Brokers has opened its seventh branch in Reading.

James Cadle has been appointed as branch director for the new location. He previously worked at JLT and Axa.

Mark Cox and Theo Pastuch both join the new branch as account executives.

Mr Cox previously held the same role at Jelf, and Mr Pastuch most recently worked at Macbeth. He also completed a stint as regional sales director at Jelf.

Broking profits fall at Saga

Underlying profit before tax in Saga’s insurance broking arm fell to £39.8m for the year ended 31 January 2024, compared with £71.5m in the previous period.
