Quindell to expand claims offering with ALH purchase

Quindell Portfolio is to buy Abstract Legal Holdings (ALH), parent company of Accident Advice Helpline, on or after 2 April 2013.

Quindell has paid a non-refundable deposit of £19.75m towards this transaction, which is subject to approval from the Solicitors Regulation Authority, and has also entered an exclusive agreement to provide all legal services to ALH with immediate effect.

The company has entered a separate agreement with The Compensation Lawyers (TCL) to provide a joint outsourcing offering for the UK insurance claims market.
