Besso poised for buying spree
Besso Insurance Group has set its sights on pursuing acquisitions and expanding into new markets after having secured £5m additional investment capital from shareholders.
The Lloyd's broker said the investment followed the recent restructuring of the group and its management team which helped cut debt levels.
Besso's new chairman Colin Bird said: "We are pleased to have raised this initial funding and have a number of targets we are interested in.
"Our business has been restructured and has a strong, robust platform upon which we can now build our future."
