Former Marsh man joins AFL to boost environmental offering

AFL Insurance Brokers has appointed former Marsh man David Edwin in a bid to establish a 'dedicated global environment capability'.

Mr Edwin - who has garnered more than 20 years' experience handling and assessing environmental risk - also used to work for AIG. 

The Lloyd's broker explained that the introduction of the environmental liability directive has triggered the development of a new range of business-based environmental damage policies, as well as an increased demand for cover.
