Towergate in regional acquisition spree
Towergate Group has completed four acquisitions to take the company's 2012 total to 23.
Towergate Insurance snapped up the non-life insurance business of Newstead Insurance Brokers' Stoke office and general insurance broker Grenville Westinsure.
Meanwhile, CCV - part of the Towergate Group - took on D Lawson & Son and M&RE Rogers.
The Birmingham office of Newstead Insurance Brokers has not been purchased however the Stoke office - which was set up by Paul O'Donnell in 1988 - will see six employees transfer to Towergate's Stoke office under the leadership of managing director Peter
