HCC opens Midlands office

HCC International has opened a new office in the Midlands in a move designed to increase its regional presence.

The office will be managed by newly appointed Mark Woodcock and will write UK casualty business.

According to the specialty insurer the opening demonstrated its long-term commitment to developing business with brokers in the regions.

Mr Woodcock has joined from Brit Insurance to lead the new offering. He brings over 25 years of casualty underwriting to the role and has worked in the region since 1999.
