Professionalism: Chartered status far more than a badge

Axa commercial lines and personal intermediary CEO Amanda Blanc has argued that the chartered status is "far, far more than a simple badge".

It follows comments that the distinction is nothing more than a logo that companies can add to their stationary.

And arguing the merits of the status, Ms Blanc stated: It's so important... as I think it is far, far more than a simple badge.

"Do any of the other professions that use the chartered status see it in this way? No of course they don't.

"Their chartered status is an outward symbol of the work and effort they have put in to ensure they and their employees have reached a certain level of
