Axa goes to QBE for new Reading underwriter

Axa Commercial Lines and Personal Intermediary has appointed Karen Young as senior underwriter for its Reading branch.

Ms Young joins from QBE where she was a commercial underwriter, and has previously worked at Willis, Chubb and RSA. She has also worked at Axa before.

The provider said Ms Young would be responsible for referrals on larger cases, developing wordings and carrying out audits, as well as working as a dedicated point of contact for brokers on some of the company’s largest schemes.
