Aon reports 2% organic growth for retail brokerage

Aon's retail brokerage organic revenue increased by 2% in the third quarter of 2012, according to its results.

The broking giant - which moved its corporate headquarters to London earlier this year - said this increase reflected growth in both the Americas and its international businesses.

Aon attributed its organic growth in the Americas of 2% to strong management of the renewal book portfolio across Latin America and affinity.

And, as for its international organic revenue growth of 3%, Aon cited strong growth in emerging markets, health and benefits, as well as solid management of the renewal book
