Manchester Underwriting upgrades electronic capability

Manchester Underwriting Management (MUM) has launched a new website and trading platform.

The specialist MGA confirmed that it was moving ahead with an increased range of products that it offered to supporting brokers and had targeted making it easier to transact that business.

Richard Webb, director of Manchester Underwriting, commented: "MUM is now an established trading partner for our supporting brokers and they have seen us adding real value through a combination of ease of transaction, strong levels of service and expertise in the market.

Aviva doubling down for customers, says Martin

Aviva is committed to pushing on with an “absolute focus on customer” and will continue “doubling down”, David Martin, managing director for UK commercial and chief distribution officer, told Insurance Age as he teased a “major new proposition” pencilled in for the end of the third quarter will catch brokers’ eyes.
