Travelers appoints Willis man as Europe COO
Travelers has appointed Matthew Wilson as chief operating officer (COO), Europe, which includes responsibility for its UK operations.
Mr Wilson joins from Willis Group, and has also worked at Legal & General.
He will partner with the senior leaders of Travelers Syndicate Management and Travelers Insurance and will report to Sean Genden, who previously held the role of COO, until he was promoted to CEO of Travelers Europe in 2011.
Mr Genden commented: “Matthew is a highly skilled manager with an impressive track record and I’m delighted to welcome him to the role of COO.
