Mitsui confirms PI class underwriter promotion
Mitsui Sumitomo at Lloyd's has promoted Stuart Wood to class underwriter for professional indemnity (PI) as it continues its bid to expand the professional lines operation.
Mr Wood, who joined the firm in 2009, boasts ten years' experience underwriting PI risks in the London market.
Commenting on his promotion, Andrew Dougall, underwriting manager casualty, said: "Stuart has already made a significant contribution to the success of the PI portfolio.
"His promotion demonstrates our confidence in him and his ability, as well as our drive to strengthen our underwriting management team."
