Former Zurich PL chief Bedlow to join Tesco
Ex-Zurich personal lines managing director Karl Bedlow is to join Tesco, Insurance Age can reveal.
The news comes one day after his departure from Zurich was confirmed.
Mr Bedlow will join Tesco Bank from the start of January as managing director for insurance, reporting to chief executive officer Benny Higgins.
A spokesperson confirmed that staff were told of the development yesterday.
He said: "Karl will join the new executive committee of Tesco Bank and will be responsible for all aspects of our insurance products and services.
