Ex-Barbon MD joins Giles

Giles Insurance Brokers has appointed Nick Sharp as executive director for the group.

In this newly created role at Giles, Mr Sharp will assist in the creation of new specialist propositions and related underwriting management.

He was previously group managing director at Barbon and his departure was confirmed last month.

Brendan McManus, chief executive officer at Giles, said: "Nick is a fantastic guy who has an outstanding reputation and proven track record. His experience will be invaluable in driving Giles forward.

"We are very pleased that he's decided to join the team here
